Design of solid slabs

Click the toolbar icon  or from the main menu (Slabs -> Solid slabs) or type the command ssd

Floor slabs

Parent floor

The level accommodates beams and slabs

Child slab

The portion of the floor fully or partially surrounded by beams

Strip

Virtual structural model representing an edge to edge beam, its members are the slab strip and its supports are the beam floors.

Floor levels

The tree

As shown below , each tree node representing a floor subtree, child slabs and structural analysis strips are the branches of the said subtree.

Parent floor

Current floor Current selected floor
Level Level of the floor
Name Friendly name to identify the floor
Collapse tree To collapses the current TreeNode and its child nodes
Add or Modify To add/modify data of current selected item

Child slabs

Current Slab Current selected slab
Dim. Child slab Dimensions
Loads for design of beams Loads generated by slabs for later use in design of beams, for more information click here
