There is no technical support for any version prior to D7e.

 Most of Older D7 free versions work only when installed on Drive C, So move D7 folder to any where on your Hard Drive C and update shortcuts.

 In simple words they are a set of quick tools, each one of them has the following characteristics:

1- It doesn't need you to create a new project

2- It doesn't produce any reports

3- No graphics support

4- No access command line interface

5- It doesn't save its data.

It is a tree on the left top corner of D7 software main window where you can expand and browse the tree, double click any icon to launch a quick tutorial video before you start working on any module. 
The tree icons are similar to those found on all toolbars and main menu icons for easy identification. 

Development mode is a test mode not for the user . Only us has the right to switch D7e to development mode for testing purposes. It may happens when using unlicensed or pirated copy, if that happened with you, stop using the App and lets know. 

 D7 is using the standard ASTM rebar sizes as the default or pre-defined rebar sizes ,you can replace all sizes from D7 configuration menu to meet your demands.

Software ID is written on the left side of D7 installation CD. you can get it by typing the command (#999) without brackets at the command prompt.

Every time D7 runs It loads and executes the script autoexec.d7s ,we have included some commands to replace the default standard ASTM rebar diameters , please locate the file autoexec.d7s on your hard drive, make a backup copy and delete it, restart D7 and you will see the changes you made.

Windows version

Serial number
Activation code.

Connect to the Internet and use one of the following methods to update D7 and do the following:

1- From the pull down menu click {Check of update} menu item or on the command prompt type the command {update}

2- Login to your account and download any updates {.dup file type} if available
Then open the update file  by double clicking the file or opening it by clicking {Open update file} menu item

Usually reports are sent from D7, but in such case if D7 failed to start, you can use an a separate tool  for preparing and sending the report.

From windows Start menu and under Programs
D7e ->Send report

Open D7 configuration window select -> Interface , and tick the check box (Always show project contents)
or at the command line prompt type (setvarb isactvprjman ON)

There are 2 ways to do so:

1- At the command prompt type the command load browse hour hard drive and locate the D7 script file then click OK.

2- Use the command execute

Example :  if the script file name is (somescript.d7s) and saved in drive C root directory

execute c:\\somescript.d7s

The exported file is opened on Autocad, Close the file on Autocad to enable D7 to re-create and update  the file.

Error message : AutoCAD layer already existed.

Currently please disregard that error message
Basically it is a warning but it is categorized as an error message because in very seldom cases D7e maybe stops .

The reason of this error message is in some cases D7e tries to insert new entities to the AutoCAD file and create a layer that is already existed.
